Kate is providing group and individual supervision following Fiona Sutherland and Shane Jeffrey’s training, and individual supervision following Anjanette and Claire’s May training. She is also providing individual supervision to experienced dietitians (Package 3).

Kate Fleming is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a passion for assisting those with disordered eating issues and weight concerns.

Kate welcomes supervisee’s to a supportive space where they can learn, reflect, breathe and thrive. Kate has extensive experience in the eating disorder and mental health arena over 20+ years. Her work has primarily been in adult and adolescent private specialist outpatient eating disorder services although she have worked in a range of settings including inpatient and day patient specialist services for eating disorders and more general mental health settings. Today Kate enjoys leading a small team of passionate and skilled dietitians who bring courage, collaboration and commitment to their interprofessional eating disorder practice located in Perth WA.

Along with providing nutrition support across all eating disorder presentations, Kate offer CBT-E therapy and FBT. She offers trainings in eating disorder nutrition therapy for mental health practitioners and dietitians. Her work and supervision is underpinned by client centred and trauma informed care and she utilises counselling skills drawn from a range of models including motivational interviewing, ACT, mindfulness and DBT.

Kate hopes to offer in supervision a safe space in which suervisees can bring curiosity to an environment of mutual learning and respect. Kate is available for supervision on a Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
