Colleen is providing training and follow-up group supervision in FBT. Colleen is also providing individual and group supervision to experienced clinicians (Package 3).

Colleen Alford is a Clinical Social Worker and Family Therapist. Colleen has been working with adolescents and their families for 20 years. Colleen is currently a senior member of the Eating Disorder Service at Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. Colleen provides eating disorder and family therapy training, consultation and supervision to clinicians throughout Australia. Colleen was the Family Based Treatment Trainer and Consultant for the first stage of the NSW State-Wide Eating Disorders Workforce Development Plan. This involved training and supervising over 500 clinicians over two years. Colleen has developed a parent group program, Nourish, based on the principles of FBT and has also developed a treatment adjunct for young people with Autism and AN, and their families.
