Prue is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist and family therapist with specific additional training in CBT-E, FBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR. She has worked in private practice and the public health system in both Sydney and London with the more recent public health position in Sydney as the WLSHD Eating Disorder Coordinator (NSW Health).   In the UK, she worked in the NHS Adolescent Outpatient Eating Disorder Service at Springfield University Hospital, at the CAMHS Adolescent Eating Disorders Inpatient Unit and CAMHS Eating Disorders Outpatients Unit at the Priory Hospital.

Prue is passionate about helping people and set up her private practice to help people in the local area with a range of mental health issues including eating disorders, body image, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and attachment and relationship difficulties (families and couples).

Prue’s approach to her clients is warm and empathic where she aims to build and nurture a therapeutic environment of trust and safety. 

Prue is also passionate about her role as a clinical supervisor and helping supervisees reach their full potential.  She adopts a similar warm and empathic approach with her supervisees empowering them with self-confidence and wisdom, creating a safe and reflective environment and encouraging new ways of thinking and hypothesizing.
