Lucy Wise is a Clinical Psychologist who has over 20 years of experience working with eating disorders. She has worked in the public sector in a senior clinical position in which she worked with Eating Disorders with a particular focus on Personality Disorders as a co-morbid presentation. In this setting she also developed experience working with Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa. She has been in private practice for 15 years and she has continued to work consistently with Eating Disorders during that time. She is trained in CBT-E and also utilises DBT with Binge Eating and early intervention programs with Eating Issues in addition to training and education for professionals.
Lucy is a partner in the Launceston Therapy Clinic and runs Eating Disorder supervision programs for younger clinicians and also provides individual supervision tailored to a clinicians clinical experience. She also has an interest in Binge Eating Disorders and co-morbidities that include Personality Disorders and ADHD, and ASD. She has supervised clinicians at all stages of their careers and is an AHPRA recognised Supervisor.
The approach taken in supervision is that it is viewed as a supportive environment to assist the clinician to develop the skills to work within a multidisciplinary team and clinically grow in an area which is complex. She enjoys working with clinicians at all stages of their careers and enjoy watching clinicians develop.
