Dr Amanda Bolton is a senior clinical psychologist with 7+ years of experience working with adolescents and their families as well as adults recovering from an eating disorder in both public and private settings. Amanda spent many years working at the Butterfly Eating Disorder Day program as both a clinician and as the senior clinician coordinator of the program (developing the program, group content and treatment focus, working with young people and their families, supervising students and clinicians, providing eating disorders training, delivering treatment and overseeing the smooth running of the program) . Amanda has also worked in the Monash Health eating disorder outpatient service (Wellness and Recovery Centre) and private practice. Amanda has extensive experience delivering individual treatment (CBT-E, CCSM, DBT and schema therapy), family focused treatment (AFT) as well as group therapy programs (CCSW, CBT, ACT, DBT). Amanda draws on these and other frameworks (HAES Ⓡ, intuitive eating, motivational interviewing, FBT, MANTRA, psycho-dynamic) in her work both as a clinician and a clinical supervisor. Amanda is also a casual lecturer and supervisor with the Cairnmillar Institute.
