Nikki Jeacocke

Resume

Nikki Jeacocke is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Fellow of Sports Dietitians Australia with 19 years’ experience working in clinical, community and elite athlete contexts. She currently works at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) as the Senior Sports Dietitian and Disordered Eating Project Lead.  Nikki has specialist expertise in working with athletes in the early identification, prevention and management of disordered eating and eating disorders and was a key member of the development of the AIS and National Eating Disorders Collaboration Disordered Eating in High Performance Sport Position Statement.  Nikki’s ongoing work includes leading the AIS’s contribution to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of a range of disordered eating resources for high performance sport; including web-based resources, organizational guidelines and policies; and workshops for coaches and performance support staff.

If you work with athletes of any age and skill-level and are looking for a supervisor to help with the intersection of sport and eating disorders, then Nikki would love to work with you.   Greatest benefit would be had by engaging in both 1:1 and group sessions with Nikki. The plan will be to intersperse group and 1:1 sessions to maximise the outcomes of both supervision modalities.
