Ainsley is a Clinical Psychologist, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor and the Director of Nourish Nurture Thrive, a private psychology practice dedicated to providing support for people experiencing eating disorders and body image concerns.
Ainsley has over 12 years’ experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including public child and adolescent mental health, not for profit youth organisations and private practice. Working from a Health at Every Size framework, Ainsley attempts to instill hope that recovery is possible for all individuals and aims to help individuals restore their relationship with their body. Inclusion of families, carers and support people is a strong focus of Ainsley’s work, as well as the implementation of evidence-based treatment models in a private practice setting. Ainsley works with clients across the age spectrum, and has experience working with children and adolescents, as well as adults. Ainsley’s primary treatment modalities include FBT, APT and CBT-E.
INDIVIDUAL supervision sessions for Package 3 clinicians, facilitated by Ainsley can support mental health clinicians in the following areas: CBT-E, FBT, Child & youth, Adult, Private practice, Public mental health, and Community.
